Directions
BY ROAD:
From Wanaka (20km)
Take Cardrona Valley Rd towards Queenstown and turn into the signposted SNOW FARM access road on the left.
From Queenstown (35km)
Take SH6 towards Cromwell, at Arrow Junction take the Crown Range Rd towards Wanaka and, 2km past Cardrona Historic Hotel, turn into the SNOW FARM access road on the right.
From the West Coast
Lake Wanaka and Cardrona Valley are approximately 2 hours from the West Coast. The Haast Pass is a beautiful scenic drive, and is highly recommended. To get to Cardrona follow signs to Wanaka and then follow the instructions above.
From Christchurch
This drive through the McKenzie Country takes in stunning views of Lakes Tekapo and Pukaki as well as Mount Cook – New Zealand’s highest mountain. To get to Cardrona follow signs to Wanaka and then follow the instructions above.

Chartered flights
The Cardrona Airfield is 1km from the homestead. Charter operators offer services upon request. Flights from Queenstown take approximately 20 minutes through spectacular alpine scenery.
